mmm food

Russell Stover jelly beans were sent from heaven to make people happy. I think they're infused with the happy souls of bunny rabbits or something? Which sounds painful for the bunnies.

Strongly suggest the Bloomsbury Bistro in Raleigh. Simple two-tier menu, with small plates and large plates. Had a vichyssoise with lump crab meat that was out of this world, was enough to stop a tense dinner conversation in its tracks.

Their wine by the glass list was extremely limited, with only one choice for most varietals, but the Matanzas chardonnay was a strong enough pick.

For those people who've tried the Cosmopolitan, and enjoyed the food but weren't thrilled with the service or ambience, this is the place for you. Essentially the same menus with a cozy setting.

It snows in North Carolina? I was a bit surprised by your picture! I like that youhave compassion for bunnies! I feed the wildlife of America....and have had generations of bunnies born under my juniper bush. Your title "mmm food" caught my eye.....cause there are people that eat to live....and then people like me...who live to eat! Russell Stover also happens to be one of our customers. Anyway...nice to meet you!

It's not so much the snow as the ice that's worse here. When it does get cold it hovers around freezing, melt, freeze, melt, freeze, and the whole city shuts down.

Maybe that's because we have one snow plow in a 500k population metropolitan area....

You responded! I have left a few comments for others in the past couple months....and never once got a response! You responded!

It would be fun if our whole city shut down under such said conditions! Snow Day! Unfortunately....they have snow removal down to an exact science...

So what's up with the name of your blog anyway.....it's pretty mysterious....."Something I can never have".........very mysterious....it really makes one wonder just what it is you can never have. And of course...if anyone ever tells me you "can't" or "don't".....it brings out the rebel in me and well....I just say Can't lives on Won't Street!...and one could probably guess the rest. But I truly am curious about the name of your blog.

Sorry, didn't mean to surprise you by commenting back. Apparently I didn't get the memo... :)

It's been a looong time since I was a serious nine-inch-nails fan, but for some reason that lyric popped into my head when I was trying to think of something that described my mood the day the blog started.

"I just want something --
I just want something I can never have."

It was a nice surprise...I work so much there's not much time left to ever make new friends. Nine Inch Nails...not familiar with them...must look into that! My latest fave in the CD player has been Buckcherry...they pretty much ROCK!
