Congrats on making such a kick azz game in Gears of War. I was never really a 360 fan until I played that game. One of the best games I've ever played. How can i get a job at Epic and help make some phat games?

Hi Mike,
I am a great fan of the game and came across your blog from the official GOW weblink.
I was hoping you answer a question for me. I live in Dubai, UAE (Middle East) and have been playing the game for almost a year. Only recently I have been unable to download the content from marketplace on xbox live due to it 'not being available for download in my region'. This is bizarre as it was available previously and then all of a sudden became unavailable! I have logged the complaint with Microsoft but the response from their Customer Service team was way below par and they were unable to give me a reason for this.
Do you have a solution as I am missing out on these maps. I have the credits and want to download it, and in September these maps will be free to download; which means my on-line gaming experience will be greatly reduced as all gamers will be using the maps in there on-line multiplayer map cycles.
Is there a way to get the maps to upload on to the hardisk, eithere free or by purchase, or is this an issue you can raise with Microsoft to invesitgate the reason for this to open the blockage?
I hope you can help or offer some solutions. I will check back here for an answer or e-mail me at my identity above.

I'm 60 years old. I've played them all...Gears is best. Only one complaint..I have over 10,000 kills (do you have any idea how hard that is for a geezer, not to mention what a huge proportion of my remaining days on earth this took to accomplish) and I still have no seriously acheivement. It is near Christmas and is there any way you could grant me the status symbol I have earned. Posthumously just won't be as satisfying. My gamertag is befuddler.
